Our test
Tested 28 Sep 2026 · Chrome desktop · test audio: 10-second WAV made in the browser (44.1 kHz mono, 882 KB)
How we checked privacy: We dragged the audio in and reviewed the browser’s resource log. There was no upload and not even an ad or analytics request. As its about page says, it runs entirely in the browser with no backend.

When to use it
Pick it to trim a recording or fix volume and noise without installing software or uploading anything. It suits sensitive audio such as interviews and lectures.
Before you use it
Menus are English only. Contrary to what we had noted before, it exports WAV and FLAC as well as MP3. For long multitrack work, desktop Audacity is steadier.
How to use it
- Open audiomass.co (no sign-up).
- Drag an audio file into the window or use File → Load from Computer.
- Select a range, cut or apply Effects, then choose a format in File → Export / Download.
