Our test
Tested 27 Sep 2026 · Chrome desktop · synthetic test images: 2000×1400 PNG 494 KB and 3000×2000 JPG 3.88 MB (same image used for Squoosh and iLoveIMG)
How we checked privacy: we watched the browser network log while compressing. The image was sent to TinyPNG servers (/backend/opt/store) and the result was returned from there. The operator says uploaded files are kept for up to 48 hours.
